Job summary

DIRECTV invites students to join the Operational Analytics team as a Summer Intern. You’ll work on KPI analytics, financial analyses, and customer segmentation to drive business insights.

The 10-week remote program runs in the US, with hourly compensation from $25–$34, depending on academic status. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, present insights to leaders, and build data storytelling skills using Excel, Power BI, Python, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year undergraduate or advanced degree in Math, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science.
• Strong data analytics and visualization skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience with Python and SQL; Databricks a plus.
• Knowledge of Power BI and data storytelling.
• Comfort presenting to leaders and working virtually.

Responsibilities

• Analytics work to understand drivers of performance and KPI analytics.
• Conduct deep financial analysis around commitments and projects driving financial performance.
• Deep segmentation of customer base to understand impacts to customer experience.
