Job summary

DIRECTV is seeking a 10-week remote Operational Analytics Summer Intern to apply data analytics, visualization, and storytelling to business challenges. You will work on KPI analytics, financial analyses of commitments and projects, and customer segmentation to inform strategy.

The role requires strong Excel, PPT, Python, SQL, and Power BI skills, plus experience with data storytelling and virtual collaboration. Eligible U.S. work authorization is required for a remote internship.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a 4-year undergraduate or advanced degree in Math, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science.
• Strong analytics, data visualization, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; Python and SQL required.
• Experience with Databricks is a plus; ability to present to leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support analytics projects like KPI analytics and financial analysis to drive performance.
• Segment customers to uncover insights impacting experience and decisions.
• Document processes from ideation to deliverable and communicate findings.
