CrateDB is seeking a versatile software engineer to join its open source ecosystem team. You will develop and maintain drivers and adapters for CrateDB, contribute to third-party integrations, and work closely with the FLOSS community and core engineers on projects managed on public GitHub.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and Java; multi-language capability preferred.
• Experience with test-driven development and production-grade code.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; customer-focused OSS mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain drivers/adapters for CrateDB.
• Connect CrateDB with external tools (Grafana, Airflow, etc.).
• Build and maintain internal admin tooling and documentation.
• Improve PostgreSQL compatibility and ecosystem integrations.
• Collaborate with open source community and partners on joint projects.
• Support product managers with technical requirements.
