Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state applied to, or willing to obtain.
• Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Board Prepared if within 5 years of residency/fellowship.
• DEA number and other licenses/certificates to prescribe medications.
• Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric treatments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses in outpatient settings.
• Provide medication management and therapy to diverse patient populations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
• Refer for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with mental health professionals.
