Job summary

ARC Health is seeking psychiatrists (MD/DO) for remote, hybrid, or in-person opportunities across partner practices. Roles involve comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with therapy teams in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in state applied to.
• Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Board Prepared if within 5 years of completing residency or fellowship.
• Possess and maintain a valid DEA number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
• Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
• Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
• Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient’s care to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
• Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.
• Other duties as assigned.
