Job summary

ARC Health Partners is seeking psychiatrists (MD/DO) for opportunities across partner practices in Minnesota and beyond. Roles include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration in outpatient settings with in-person, hybrid, or remote options.

Active, unrestricted medical licensure in the state applied to is required, along with Board Certification (or Board Prepared within 5 years) and a valid DEA number.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state applied to.
• Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Board Prepared within 5 years of residency.
• Possess and maintain a valid DEA number and related licenses/certificates.
• Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in outpatient settings.
• Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
• Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient’s care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
• Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.
• Other duties as assigned.
