Job summary
LINC Education is seeking an experienced online educator to facilitate the Masters of Nursing (Online) program for Victoria University Online. The contractor will provide expert mental health nursing guidance to 25-30 undergraduate online students, delivering assessments, feedback, and one-on-one support.
The role requires advanced nursing credentials (RN or Midwife with AHPRA, or equivalent) and a PhD or Master’s in Nursing or related field with substantial PG-level teaching/research
Qualifications
- RN or Midwife with AHPRA registration or RMHPN with unit content knowledge.
- PhD or Master Degree in Nursing or health-related field plus 5 years' relevant teaching, research and/or professional experience at the PG level in the last 10 years.
- Full rights to work within Australia and an ABN as a sole trader or contracting entity with LINC.
- Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality with ability to work with diverse cultures; proficient in English (oral and written).
- Working laptop and high-speed internet access (>10 Mbps) needed.
Responsibilities
- Subject matter guidance to a group of 25-30 undergraduate online students.
- Support in learning skills like academic writing, research and time management.
- Conduct 1:1 sessions for doubt-resolution, academic guidance and assessment draft reviews.
- Guidance on relevant reference material.
- Assessment marking with long-form feedback.
- Management of discussion forums.
- Proactive, prompt and personalised support to student queries and issues.
