The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in English (Ph.D./Ed.D. preferred) and has proven experience in both traditional and online higher education, with strong pedagogy and Christian mission alignment.

• Required: Master’s degree specifically in English.
• Preferred: Ph.D. or Ed.D. in English, Composition/Rhetoric, English Education, or related field.
• Required: Demonstrated background or formal training in education and educational pedagogy.
• Required: Proven teaching experience in both traditional and online higher education environments.

Responsabilidades

• Teach full-time general education English and composition courses delivered asynchronously through Canvas LMS.
• Apply contemporary educational pedagogy, adult learning theories, and evidence-based strategies to online writing and literature coursework.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback on student writing and maintain an active virtual presence.
• Host online office hours and foster student retention and success.
• Leverage Canvas LMS and digital learning tools to create interactive online learning environments.
• Articulate and integrate a Christian worldview into general education coursework.
• Participate in General Education assessment, faculty meetings, and university initiatives.
