Job summary

Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy in Hartford, CT is seeking dedicated Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialists for our Specialty Oncology Pharmacy. This full-time role entails verifying patient insurance coverage to ensure accurate medication access for cancer patients.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of pharmacy or benefit verification experience and a high school diploma or GED. The position may allow for remote work and offers a competitive starting salary of $24 per hour.

We also provide a sign-on bonus and various employee benefits including 401k matching and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1+ years pharmacy or benefit verification experience required, 3+ years desired.
• Pharmacy Technician License/Registration preferred.
• Experience with PBM and Medical contracts beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and verify patient insurance coverage.
• Provide accurate responses to pharmacy operations and patients.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Pharmacy insurance and benefit verification

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance

Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
