Job summary

Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) testing, dedicated to oncology, women’s health, and organ health. The Oncology Pathology Assistant provides subject matter expertise for reviewing clinical pathology reports and notes to support MRD testing in oncology.

The role collaborates with medical and customer service teams to acquire optimal specimens, curate clinical history, and ensure accurate data transfer for trials and testing. Remote USA role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher with ASCP certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in anatomic pathology, with extensive knowledge of solid tumor pathology.

Responsibilities

• Interpret oncology pathology reports to identify optimal samples for testing.
• Ensure accurate curation of clinical history and specimen information in the Signatera database.
• Devise strategies to stratify data for retrieval from internal databases.
• Organize diagnostic data according to WHO guidelines.
• Serve as SME to various teams for pathology reports.
• Identify suboptimal sample timing and/or fixative conditions and alert leadership.
• Assist in procurement of additional samples for testing as needed.
• Support Clinical Trial data transfer with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
