Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in Oncology for a remote field position in the United States. The MSL will engage Thought Leaders, present evidence-based data, and support clinical development and education programs across hematology-oncology areas.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited university (MSc, PhD, Pharm D, MD) required.
• Post-bachelor’s degree from accredited university (e.g. MBA or equivalent) valuable, not required.
• Minimum 1+ years in an MSL function.
• Clinical experience in oncology (preferentially hematology).
• Demonstrated experience in building relationships with thought leaders, pharmacists, nurses, and patient support groups.
• Languages: Written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Field Medical Associate Director, Oncology.
• Present data and disease management concepts to physicians, nurses and patient groups when requested.
• Contribute to developing research opportunities (local clinical trials & investigator-initiated studies).
• Provide therapeutic area support including response to unsolicited off-label information on products.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with current and future Thought Leaders.
• Develop speakers and advocates among Thought Leaders.
• Link internal partners to external Thought Leaders for education and research collaboration.
• Advisory board development of scientific content aligned with global priorities.
• External scientific material review and conference activities.
