Job summary

Evolent is seeking a Performance Suite Medical Director in Medical Oncology to lead value-based care transformation in oncology. You will integrate utilization management with collaborative engagement and drive innovation in clinical pathways and models of care.

The role emphasizes physician engagement, practice-level transformation, and adherence to URAC and NCQA standards, while advancing high-quality, cost-effective oncology care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with board certification in Medical Oncology or Pediatric Oncology.
• Minimum five (5) years' post-residency experience; active practice preferred in the past 2 years.
• Current, unrestricted medical license (multistate licenses preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership in practice transformation or value-based care.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Review & Peer Collaboration with oncology cases, applying guidelines for quality and cost effectiveness.
• Engage oncology practices through sessions, share best practices, and promote evidence-based pathways.
• Collaborate on design and execution of value initiatives in oncology and assess impact.
• Ensure reviews align with URAC, NCQA, and internal quality standards; document decisions and participate in training.
