Job summary

American Oncology Network AON seeks a registered nurse to provide safe, accurate patient care in our oncology/hematology clinics in Loudoun and Reston. Responsibilities include patient assessment, lab review, medication safety, dose verification and administration, plus triage and education.

The role requires an unrestricted RN license, CPR/BLS, strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Standard hours Mon-Fri with occasional overtime; travel to multiple locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Experience in hematology/oncology patient care.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive care as ordered.
• Accurate charting in EMR and correct billing practices.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and plan of care.
• Triage calls and patient concerns with timely responses.
