Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Clinical Research Budget Associate for a 100% remote role that must be located in Texas. You will develop, analyze, and negotiate budgets for industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials within a large oncology-focused research environment.

The role supports strategic and long-range planning for the clinical trials program and ensures accurate financial management. You will collaborate with research planning, regulatory, PI teams, and sponsors to resolve

Qualifications

Experience utilizing OnCore or similar clinical trial management systems for budgeting and tracking.
Background in oncology or clinical research environments, particularly with industry-sponsored trials.
Familiarity with coverage analysis processes and collaboration with regulatory, budget, and clinical research finance teams.
Experience participating in sponsor and CRO negotiations for new and amended clinical trial budgets.

Responsibilities

Prepare budgets for industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials.
Manage and create budgets for alliance clinical trials.
Review protocols and amendments to identify discrepancies and resolve issues with investigators.
Collaborate with regulatory, budget, PI teams, and finance to review coverage analyses and adjust as needed.
Support strategic planning and participate in weekly clinical research review meetings.
