Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations, Early Development, Oncology to be remote in the United States. You will provide strategic and operational leadership for ED&CP trials across multiple therapeutic areas, ensuring timelines, budgets, and compliance are met while mentoring a team of trial managers and site staff.

You will shape local ED&CP capabilities, collaborate with PDLs and SSLs, and drive innovations to position the global ED&CP organization for sustained success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences.
• Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience in pharmaceutical industry, CRO or investigational site.
• ED&CP experience in early development is preferred.
• Strong English communication and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring and coaching others; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management to direct reports including setting goals and performance evaluation.
• Forecast resource needs for the assigned portfolio and collaborate with the Director.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, SOPs and regulatory requirements; manage budget and expenses.
• Drive process improvements and foster organizational effectiveness in ED&CP and GCO.
• Lead ED&CP clinical trials from feasibility to close-out and ensure inspection readiness.
