The Veteran Project Manager Mentor Alliance (VPMMA) is seeking an Onboarding Lead to manage the volunteer intake process. This remote role offers flexibility and involves tracking applicants through orientation. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and preferably have onboarding or HR experience.

Qualifications

• Organizational and administrative abilities.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet tools and CRMs.
• Preferred experience in onboarding or volunteer management.

Responsibilities

• Manage volunteer intake pipeline from application to placement.
• Schedule candidate discussions and maintain applicant tracking.
• Ensure timely communication with candidates about updates.

Skills

Highly organized

Strong coordination and follow-up skills

Familiarity with spreadsheets

Familiarity with remote collaboration tools

Experience in onboarding, HR, or volunteer management
