Job summary

Edibolic Kitchen in Connecticut seeks a creative video editor to own production across social channels. You will edit short-form videos first, plus longer YouTube-style content, and shoot on-site as needed.

You will publish on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, craft captions, manage a content calendar, and keep clips organized. Flexible remote options and founder direction are key.

Qualifications

• Strong editing portfolio covering both short-form and longer-form video (short-form matters most).
• Hands-on editing experience in CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Comfortable filming with a camera and a phone, on-site some days.
• Can find the story in raw footage and cut with good pacing.
• Know how each platform works, including TikTok vs LinkedIn vs YouTube.
• Organized, reliable, and hit deadlines without being chased.
• Know which trends fit a food brand and which don't.
• Take direction well and still bring your own ideas.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) from start to finish.
• Edit longer YouTube-style videos from longer recordings.
• Film on location with a camera and phone, with some shoots on-site and some footage sent to you.
• Publish and schedule content natively on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube with tailored captions and tone.
• Add captions and text overlays.
• Maintain a content calendar and footage library.
• Stay current with trending audio and formats and pitch ideas.
• Incorporate creative direction from the founder while maintaining your voice.
