Job summary

ICF seeks On-Call Research Specialists to support a multi-year systematic literature review project on physical activity for a federal client. Remote in the United States, with flexible hours and core 10am–4pm ET, expecting 5–10 hours weekly and up to 30 hours as workload allows.

Responsibilities include screening literature, data extraction, and quality assessment of studies, with the potential to assist in reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience conducting physical activity-related research.
• Ability to read and critically evaluate scientific literature on physical activity and public health.
• Experience with systematic literature reviews.

Responsibilities

• Screen literature for inclusion/exclusion in reviews.
• Extract data from included literature.
• Assess study quality using standardized tools.
• Support report development.
