The role supports the full-time nephrologist during TDY, leave, or absences, ensuring continuity of care for beneficiaries.

The position is remote-on-call, with in-person activation possible within 60 minutes when medically required.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO degree from US/Canada or AMA-approved school, or ECFMG-certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote on-call nephrology consultations during scheduled periods.
• Be prepared to report in person within 60 minutes if medically necessary.
• Manage continuity of care during activation until discharge or transfer.
