Job description

QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Pediatric Physician to provide patient care services at Mike O’Callahan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), Nellis AFB, Nevada. This position plays a critical role in delivering timely, high-quality, patient-centered care in support of the military healthcare mission.

Responsibilities
  • Duty Hours: Monday – Friday between 0730-1630, including a 1-hour lunch break. Work hours will not exceed 40 hours per week; services performed in accordance with a schedule coordinated with the respective department.
  • On-Call Hours: N/A
  • Overage Hours: N/A
  • Capable of performing the full range of general medical services, including the ability and experience to diagnose and treat urgent/acute diseases and injuries, covering:
    • Skin
    • Pulmonary System
    • Head
    • Gastrointestinal System
    • Eyes
    • Musculoskeletal System
    • Ears
    • Genitourinary System
    • Nose
    • Reproductive System
    • Throat
    • Lymphopoietic System
    • Neck
    • Central Nervous System
    • Cardiovascular System
    • Endocrine System
  • Become familiar with the hospital formulary.
  • Prepare and maintain proper medical records for beneficiaries treated in accordance with MTF procedures.
  • Follow established operating procedures for the pediatric clinic.
  • Contract personnel shall participate in the quality control activities of the Department of Pediatrics.
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
  • Education: Must have a qualifying degree MD/DO completed in the United States or with an ECFMG certificate or Fifth Pathway certificate for individuals who completed premedical education in the US and medical education abroad.
  • Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Successfully completed an internship and residency in an accredited U.S. Pediatric Training Program.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications per American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines. Proof of current certification(s) required. Computer-based training does not fulfill requirements.
  • Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified as required in the Task Order.
  • Licensure: Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Medical License to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.
