Job summary

QuarterLine at Mike O’Callahan Military Medical Center (MOMMC) on Nellis AFB, NV seeks an experienced Diagnostic Radiology Physician to deliver high-quality radiological care in a dynamic military medical setting. The role requires extensive radiology expertise, strong clinical judgment, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include performing MRI, mammography, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, and DEXA interpretations; guiding and teaching staff; and

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required; board certification in Radiology.
• Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology; MQSA certified.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited radiology residency.
• Permanent, full Nevada medical license.
• ECFMG certification for international graduates (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic radiology services across MRI, Mammo, CT, X-ray, US, Fluoro, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA.
• Supervise and educate clinical staff; participate in on-site leadership.
• Order diagnostic tests and coordinate with related physicians and clinics.
• Maintain patient-centered care and adhere to DHA requirements in practice.

ABR board-certified; MQSA certified

Nevada medical license (permanent, full, unrestricted)

Job description

Overview

QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) Company, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Radiology Physician to deliver exceptional patient care services at Mike O’Callahan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This role is essential to supporting the military healthcare mission by providing timely, high-quality, and patient-focused radiological care in a dynamic clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, sound medical judgment, and the ability to effectively manage emergent and complex cases. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are also critical to success in this position.

• Work Schedule: Workweeksfall from Sunday – Saturday between the hours of 0700 and 2000.Scheduled Per Diem 4-, 8-, 10-, or 12-hoursshift.
• On-Call Hours: NTE 700 hrs annually. Contract personnel will be required to report in-person to the MTF within 30 minutes during on-call hours, as needed.

• Overage Hours:Overage hours are only available for continuity of care requirements, emergencies, or whenrequiredto return to the facilityduring an on-call shift. Overage hours shallNTE 150 hrsannually.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

Experience: In addition to above certifications the candidate must meet the following conditions:

• At least 10 years or greater as a diagnostic radiologist.
• Actively practicing for 2 out of the last 3 years with interpretations performed under the following modalities:
  • MRI
  • Mammo
  • CT
  • Xray
  • US
  • Fluoro
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • DEXA
• Perform a full range of physician servicesin accordance withprivileges granted by the MTF.
• Clinicallyguide, perform, orassistin the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
• Examine, diagnose,treator prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
• Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
• Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral withappropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources asindicated.
• Technically proficient in clinically directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such clinical direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree:Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
• Education: Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
• Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) using American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines. Members must present proof of current certification(s) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Computer-based training does not constitute fulfilling the training requirements.
• Board Certification: Board certified by the American Board of Radiology. NOT board eligible. Mammography Quality and Standards Act (MQSA) Certified.
• Licensure: Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Medical License to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.
