Mixteco/Indígena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) in Oxnard, CA is seeking an On-Call Interpreter to provide interpretation for social services clients. Responsabilidades

• Provide interpretation services to clients needing language assistance when working with social service providers.
• Listen to information in one language and interpret into the client’s language.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding clients’ information.
• Provide accurate or literal translations without adding or omitting information.
• Act as an interpreter when language barriers exist.
• Prepare before a performance by contacting the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with clients.
• Be punctual to meetings where interpreting services are provided.
• Other duties as assigned.
