Paramount Field Services, LLC is seeking an Oil & Gas GIS Agent (Mapping Specialist) for remote, full-time contract work. The role focuses on building, analyzing, and maintaining map data related to mineral ownership, lease boundaries, and drilling activity.

The ideal candidate will connect spatial data to real-world land decisions, work with land teams, and ensure data accuracy across multiple data sources.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of GIS experience in oil & gas.
• Proficient with ArcGIS suite and mapping workflows.
• Experience mapping lease boundaries, units, wells, and ownership data.
• Ability to read survey plats and title documents.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain GIS maps for oil & gas projects including boundaries and wells.
• Analyze spatial data to support land, title, and due diligence efforts.
• Integrate data from courthouse records, survey data, shapefiles, and land systems.
• Collaborate with Landmen and Division Order teams to align maps with ownership data.
• Identify discrepancies between maps and legal descriptions and resolve them.
• Support acquisitions and divestitures through GIS mapping and validation.
• Maintain GIS databases ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Produce high-quality visual maps and reports for internal teams and clients.
• Help build and improve GIS workflows and mapping standards.
