Job summary

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (OHLEG Unit). This position will be primarily remote and require about 50% travel, with occasional in-person training. The headquarters is Richfield, OH, and there are opportunities to work from home.

Responsibilities include auditing OHLEG system usage by law enforcement agencies, performing on-site reviews, preparing findings, and ensuring compliance with state and CJIS rules.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate core program in business, public administration, criminal justice or closely related field; valid Driver's License.
• 2 years’ experience in auditing, records management, criminal justice or related field; 2 years’ experience with OHLEG or LEADS; valid Driver's License.
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for employment noted above.

Responsibilities

• Audits and evaluates use of OHLEG system by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA’s).
• Schedules and performs on-site reviews with LEA’s and Courts.
• Prepares finding reports and provides to agency.
• Conducts compliance reviews for LEA’s and Court triennially.
• Provides training to LEA’s and Courts when requested.
