Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Offensive Security Analyst for a fully remote hourly contract. Bring adversarial thinking to AI training projects, focusing on structured adversarial reasoning rather than exploit development. Analyze realistic attack scenarios and model threat behavior to build datasets for smarter AI security.

Role is remote, flexible, and task-based with 10–40 hours per week. Prior pentesting, red team, or blue-team experience is valued for shaping defensible AI systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years hands-on experience in pentesting, red team operations, or a blue-team role with offensive knowledge.
  • Ability to clearly explain attack chains, attacker decision-making, and risk tradeoffs in writing.
  • Detail-oriented and systematic, able to structure threat reasoning into clear outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and attacker strategies across production environments.
  • Identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defense gaps in complex architectures.
  • Review red-team scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and depth.
  • Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data for AI training and evaluation.
  • Articulate how real attacks unfold — impact, tradeoffs, defender blind spots — in structured formats.
  • Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments at your own pace.
