Alignerr is seeking an Offensive Security Analyst to bring adversarial thinking to AI training projects. This fully remote, hourly contract role focuses on structured threat reasoning rather than exploit development, with ownership of attack scenario analysis and data labeling for AI safety.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in pentesting or red/blue team roles and can clearly communicate attack chains and risk tradeoffs in writing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in pentesting, red team operations, or blue-team roles with offensive focus.
• Ability to clearly explain attack chains, attacker decision-making, and risk tradeoffs in writing.
• Experience evaluating adversarial scenarios and documenting structured outputs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across realistic production environments.
• Identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps in complex architectures.
• Review red-team-style scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and depth.
• Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data used to train AI systems.
• Articulate how real attacks unfold, including impact and defender blind spots, in clear formats.
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments at your own pace.
