Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring & Observability Engineer to design, deploy, and operate cloud-native observability across DHS Gov Cloud environments. This remote role is focused on building a resilient monitoring plane, automated instrumentation, and policy-driven security posture management.

The engineer will own end-to-end visibility, track DR health, and drive incident response with runbooks, while ensuring FedRAMP High compliance and cross-region redundancy

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain the required public trust suitability.
• Remote work across the United States is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Build and administer the enterprise monitoring fabric using OCI Monitoring, Alarms, Logging, and Logging Analytics.
• Deploy and manage applications performance monitoring to trace distributed transactions and latency.
• Ensure cross-region resilience and disaster recovery health monitoring across Gov Cloud regions.
• Automate infrastructure-and-config changes with Python, Terraform, and OCI SDK for drift detection.
• Maintain compliance with FedRAMP High and NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 controls and document runbooks.
