Job summary

Dane Street is an Independent Review Organization and a national provider of Utilization Review services. We are expanding our physician panel with opportunities for non-traditional physician work and supplemental income.

This is a telework opportunity for physicians who are board certified in Occupational Medicine with active California licenses and experience in the California IMR process. Independent contractor (1099) reviewers are compensated on a per-case basis, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California Medical License is required.
• Board certification in Occupational Medicine is required.
• Active clinical practice in Occupational Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review IMR cases and assess medical necessity per MTUS/ODG guidelines.
• Provide clearly articulated written determinations for IMR processes.
• Maintain timely turnaround in line with standard TATs (e.g., 7 business days).
