Job summary

Dane Street is seeking experienced Occupational Medicine Physicians licensed in Washington to join our panel as independent reviewers. In this remote role, you will evaluate medical records and provide objective opinions on occupational injuries, fitness-for-duty, impairment, and return-to-work decisions.

As a 1099 contractor, you control workload and schedule, with support from Dane Street for record collection and case management.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Occupational Medicine preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Washington medical license.
• Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical experience.
• Experience evaluating work-related injuries and workers' compensation cases.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing medical records and supporting documentation.
• Conducting evidence-based clinical assessments.
• Preparing clear, comprehensive written reports.
• Participating in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary.
• Answering client-specific questions on occupational injuries and return-to-work.
• Applying current clinical guidelines and occupational health standards to reviews.
