Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an O&M Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for long-term service agreements on utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. The role involves analyzing RFPs, collaborating with business development, project managers, and engineers, and meeting bidding schedules.

This position is fully remote with interview discussions on location expectations. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, at least 3 years of estimating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or architectural field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, project plans, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and pricing for materials and equipment.
• Identify equipment/OEM requirements and quantify costs.
• Maintain bidding schedules and participate in estimate reviews.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain costs.
