LanguageLine Solutions is hiring Nyoro Interpreter to work from home in the United States. You will render spoken Nyoro-English interpretations across healthcare, government, finance, education and more, from a quiet home office.

The role emphasizes accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and professional conduct. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within a certified ASTM/ISO framework and dedicated support desks.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Nyoro and English with cultural awareness.
• Ability to assess regional/accents for effective communication.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking for accuracy.
• Remain neutral on calls involving sensitive topics.
• Background in language-related fields encouraged but not required.
• Must be 18+, US work authorized, and able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to sessions and interpret in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render concepts per interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions/additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation.
• Maintain professional demeanor throughout sessions.
• Remain calm during emotional or emergency calls (e.g., 911).
• Be punctual and available during work hours.
• Follow client instructions to meet expectations while protecting LEP.
• Understand terminology across Medical, Insurance, Finance, Law.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment.
• Handle calls that may be lengthy or high-volume with composure.
