Job summary

Bike New York is seeking an Event Production Associate to support on-site logistics for major events, including TD Five Boro Bike Tour. This role primarily remote, requiring residence within the New York City Metro Area and weekend work for events.

The position is part-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Director of Events. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and 2–5 years in event production, with a passion for large-scale mass participation events and strong teamwork and

Responsibilities

Assist with set-up and break-down of assigned areas at various event locations
Provide on-site logistical support and perform operational duties as assigned
Follow event plans and timelines; assist with registration, volunteer management, traffic flow, and crowd control
Communicate with staff, participants, volunteers, and the public in a timely, courteous manner; address on-site issues proactively
