Job summary

American College of Education seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach online courses and support student learning in a fully remote environment.

You will collaborate with the department chair and leverage ACE content, upholding rigorous online pedagogy and professional standards.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, a terminal degree or master’s-level expertise, and at least 5 years of clinical teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Earned terminal degree or demonstrates exceptional content knowledge at master’s level in nursing/related field.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in required states.
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience in higher education or clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Teaches online courses assigned by ACE using approved content and materials.
• Interacts with students professionally and supports a safe online learning environment.
• Responds promptly to student requests and monitors engagement.
• Oversees course quality and delivery, ensuring high-quality content.
• Collaborates with department leadership to support student success and program goals.
