Machinify, a leading healthcare intelligence company, seeks a Nurse Itemized Bill Reviewer (IBR Analyst) to review facility insurance claims, analyze UB-04 statements, and apply client policies to determine true charges. This role requires clinical expertise and prior itemized bill review experience, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN, LPN, or LVN license in good standing.
• 1+ year in itemized bill review.
• 2+ years in healthcare billing and coding.
• Experience applying CPT, ICD-9/10, HCPCS and payer policies.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth review of medical claims using UB-04 and itemized statements to verify line-item charges.
• Verify accuracy of itemized charges per client policy and industry standards.
• Validate automatic denials and propose additions to improve processing of IBR claims.
• Recommend system enhancements to improve claim review efficiency.
• Adhere to standards for accuracy and productivity to meet client turnaround times.
• Consult with Senior Analysts on questions related to claim reviews.
• Assist in content development, automation, research, and appeal responses as needed.
• Collaborate with internal groups on content development for global projects.
