Job summary

Insurance Program Managers Group (IPMG) is seeking a fully remote Registered Nurse for our Nurse Case Manager position. The role supports short term disability and workers’ compensation with potential for group health benefits case management.

Candidates must have 1+ year of case management experience and 2+ years direct clinical care, plus RN license or equivalent certification. This is a full-time remote role open to residents of IL and listed states.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of case management experience with return-to-work focus
• 2+ years of direct clinical care to the consumer
• RN license or relevant health/human services certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient status and needs
• Develop and update individualized case management plans with goals and timelines
• Coordinate care with providers, facilities, and payors for timely, cost-effective outcomes
• Document all case management activities and communications
• Facilitate authorizations and referrals within plan rules
• Monitor disability durations and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with patients, employers, and team members to support care
• Triage intake and coordinate care per client instructions
