Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Procurement Quality Engineer to oversee quality in the acquisition process, interfacing with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Quality Managers. Responsibilities include CGD, supplier oversight, and development of procurement documents.

This role requires either a four-year science degree with extensive related experience or an associate degree with 10 years in related fields, preferably with Nuclear Auditor certification.

Qualifications

• A four-year science degree plus 8 years of experience in a related field.
• An associate degree plus 10 years of experience in a related field (at least 3 of these years in a quality position).
• Current certified Nuclear Auditor, or preferred Nuclear Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement Engineering function including development of CGD and related evaluations.
• Lead in the assembly of Commercial Grade Dedication Packages for closure with project teams.
• Conduct Commercial Grade Surveys and Source Verifications at supplier facilities and projects.
• Develop procurement specifications that specify technical and quality requirements derived from CGD plans.
• Build strong working relationships with supervisor, coworkers, and management team.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
