Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group in Georgia is seeking a Remote No Sleepless Nights NP to manage day-to-day operations and contribute to program development, working 40 hours per week.

The NP will collaborate with regional departments to coordinate care and serve as KP GA liaison to national Kaiser Permanente programs, ensuring high-quality health services for members while overseeing HealthConnect EPIC data and care pathways.

Qualifications

• Three years of Nurse Practitioner experience with at least one year in a primary care clinic setting.
• Qualified to care for Medicare beneficiaries and Medicaid recipients under CMS qualifications.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with surgeons, radiologists, radiation oncologists and physicians to provide quality care to patients.
• If available, reviews patient’s previous health history in HealthConnect/EPIC.
• Obtains, compiles, and records patient medical data in HealthConnect.
• Orders and/or administers diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, EKG, and laboratory tests.
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Prescribes therapy or orders medical treatments or diagnostic studies in accordance with regulations.
• May perform and supervise the performance of medical treatments by other direct patient care providers.
• Develops and performs comprehensive treatment plans after gathering information.
• Updates or revises existing treatment plan based on new information.
• Instructs, counsels and educates patients about medications and regimens.
• Educates patients about what can be expected prior to, during and after procedures.
• Evaluates recovery using appropriate resources.
• Builds effective working relationships with physicians, hospital staff, vendors, and other departments.
