Job summary

DNV Business Assurance North America seeks an Area Manager, North America to lead strategy, P&L, and growth for the U.S. and Canada with a remote setup and up to 30% travel.

The role reports to the Regional Manager, Americas and drives execution of the business plan. You will guide budgeting, performance, and talent development while delivering monthly and quarterly performance reviews and ensuring governance across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Business Assurance strategy, performance, and growth agenda across the U.S. and Canada.
• Maintain full accountability for the Area P&L and overall business performance.
• Lead budget planning, forecasting, and performance management to ensure financial objectives.
• Drive operational excellence, resource optimization, and productivity across the region.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, talent development, and organizational capability growth.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business performance reviews for senior leadership.
• Establish governance and reporting processes to support informed decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive collaboration and results.
• Partner with regional and global teams to align processes, systems, and best practices.
• Provide market insights and recommendations to influence strategy and priorities.
