Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with non-metallic materials emphasis
• 5–10 years in Chemical Process or related Industries
• Experience with design, fabrication, and project process flow for non-metallic equipment
• Ability to read equipment drawings and design sketches
• Willingness to participate in Codes and Organizations (ASME or similar)

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting services to Chemours global chemical businesses in non-metallic materials engineering
• Assist in materials selection, project support, MIQA, equipment design and fabrication
• Provide technical recommendations and ensure safety standards
• Lead materials-related project execution and coordinate with vendors
• Prepare technical reports and inspection documentation
• Network with internal teams and external vendors to deliver feasible solutions
• Travel approximately 35% to plant sites and fabrication shops
