Western New Mexico University seeks a program coordinator to support College of Education clinical placements. The role coordinates partnerships with placement sites, manages compliance documentation, and assists with student recruitment and program evaluation.

Responsibilities include frequent travel across New Mexico, MOUs with sites, and collaboration with faculty, staff, and advisors. A bachelor’s degree and PK-12 experience are required; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public PK-12 school.
• Bilingual (Navajo or Spanish) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain partnerships with clinical placement sites in northern New Mexico.
• Facilitate efficient placement of students in clinical placements.
• Maintain records and documentation related to student placements and compliance.
• Assist with student recruitment and connect potential students with advisors.
• Travel frequently throughout New Mexico to build relationships with site personnel.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and placement site staff.
• Develop MOUs and other agreements with clinical sites.
• Assist with evaluation of clinical components and data management systems.
• Collaborate with media/tech services for placement-related equipment.
• Assist with accreditation and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
