Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Nursing team. You will work 12-hour shifts with days and weekends in a hybrid model, coordinating patient flow and triage admissions for internal medicine across multiple hospitalist groups.

You must have completed an accredited nursing program, hold a RN license in the practice state, and BLS certification; two years of RN experience and ED exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 2 years of RN experience and prior tirage and ED experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage internal medicine admissions and coordinate patient flow for hospitalists at CMC, Cabarrus, and the Virtual Hospital Medicine teams.
• Perform chart reviews and coordinate with physicians across multiple technologies.
• Operate in a non-patient facing clinical role focusing on admissions coordination.
