Job summary

LevelUp seeks a Software Developer (Next.js) to join our remote team. You will own end-to-end web app delivery, collaborating with leadership to translate designs into production-ready, secure interfaces.

Expect asynchronous collaboration with Brisbane-based peers and a strong emphasis on code quality and testing. Key requirements include 3–5 years of Next.js/React experience, TypeScript proficiency, and a track record of building production-grade apps with secure data handling.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of commercial Next.js/React experience including SSR/SSG/ISR.
• Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript skills with clean code.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL integrations and testing.
• Excellent written English and documentation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship web apps using Next.js and modern JS.
• Translate rough designs into maintainable components and interfaces.
• Maintain secure integrations with HR/payroll platforms and databases.
• Deploy and operate apps in Azure with CI/CD pipelines.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Monitor production and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and document technical decisions.
• Handle sensitive data with privacy and security best practices.
