Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a Manager, Editorial Newsletters to lead production across History.com, A&E, and Lifetime. You’ll shape newsletter strategy, drive engagement, and partner with editorial teams to meet brand standards.

You’ll supervise templates, personalization initiatives, and performance analytics, translating data into improvements while coordinating with external agencies and vendors. This role sits within the Digital Media team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing editorial newsletters.
• Knowledge of email newsletters fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Iterable and other newsletter platforms, CMS and Digital Editorial production.
• Strong knowledge of HTML & CSS for email, including troubleshooting across clients.
• Data-driven decision making and ability to streamline workflows.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across brands with different editorial guidelines.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Airtable and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage newsletter production strategies and processes to ensure timely and effective delivery of editorial newsletters.
• Collaborate with content teams to curate newsletters that align with content priorities, brand guidelines, and best practices.
• Monitor newsletter performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement; communicate results to broader teams.
• Collaborate with design to manage template modules; create and edit responsive HTML/CSS email templates as needed.
• Oversee push notifications production.
• Manage partners and lead relationships with external agencies and vendors.
• Lead the execution of new email personalization plans to drive engagement and growth.
• Find and recommend ways to innovate and grow our email program.
