Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking a Network Specialist - OSP Construction to coordinate outside plant field construction and splicing operations across multiple locations. You will work with various teams to ensure fiber and HFC network builds comply with NESC and TDS standards, while preparing labor and material cost estimates.

Remote work is possible in many states, with preference for applicants near Green Bay, WI.

Qualifications

• This role requires an Associate degree (or higher) or 2+ years of professional work experience in OSP Construction/Engineering.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance are required.
• Experience with NESC standards and OSP guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OSP projects and supervise consultants across multiple locations and states.
• Provide technical support for special projects and assist in engineering phases as needed.
• Review project reports, invoices, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal OSP standards.
• Attend pre-staking, pre-bid, and pre-construction meetings and manage permits.
