Job summary

First Quality Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support and manage the network security infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls, NAC, and micro-segmentation, with remote work options.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of networking experience, hands-on Palo Alto Panorama experience, and certifications such as PCNSA/PCNSE/CISSP are preferred. You will collaborate with security and network teams and participate in 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' networking experience and 2 years of hands-on firewall engineering.
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewall infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on work with Palo Alto Panorama and SCM interfaces.
• PCNSA, PCNSE, or CISSP certifications preferred.
• Strong VPN knowledge with IPSec and SSL; NAC and micro-segmentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring and management of firewall infrastructure, VPN, NAC, micro segmentation, and related tools.
• Collaborate with information security and network teams to enforce security policies.
• Analyze firewall rule sets for performance and availability impacts.
• Support change management for security configurations and execute changes.
• Participate in meetings, provide updates on projects and incidents, and ensure SOP adherence.
• Work with outsourced partners to deliver network security services.
• Use Algosec or Tufin to optimize firewall policies and detect misconfigurations.
• Perform micro-segmentation using firewalls and Illumio or Guardicore.
