Job summary

Cerebras Systems is seeking a Network Security Engineer to build, operate, and secure our data center, cloud, and corporate networks. This is a remote, U.S.-based role with occasional travel to Cerebras offices or data centers.

You will collaborate with distributed teams to safeguard firewalls, segmentation, VPNs, and cloud networking while driving security automation and governance. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in network security, hands-on firewall and VPN expertise, and strong scripting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, or infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, ACLs, segmentation, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS networking (VPCs, transit gateways, security groups, load balancers).
• Proficiency with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Operate firewalls, ACLs, segmentation, and network security controls across data center, corporate, and AWS environments.
• Remotely support data center network deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management with on-site teams.
• Implement and maintain segmentation, firewall, and ACL policies across various environments.
