Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Specialist, Network Recruitment to sustain network adequacy and grow our provider network through effective administration of contracting lifecycle. You will support market strategy development, ensure data integrity across contracts, and foster collaboration with internal teams and external providers.

The role requires coordinating with multiple departments, handling sensitive provider data, and driving process improvements while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare contracting/coordination.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare contract coordination or provider relations in a managed care environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, especially Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Create recruitment lists using demographic data for current out-of-network providers based on geography, specialty or demographics.
• Assist in preparation, review and execution of provider contracts and Letters of Agreement.
• Collaborate with Provider Recruitment to address provider inquiries and data-related contracting matters.
• Oversee the 'Request to Join' process and the 'Join Our Network' mailbox to identify new contracts.
• Generate reports on provider contract data updates and network status from multiple sources.
• Coordinate with departments to collect provider contract data for enterprise systems setup, including directory and credentialing.
• Maintain provider contracting data in the network database and assist with ongoing updates.
• Support special projects to ensure completeness and accuracy of the provider contracting database.
• Provide administrative support for incoming provider requests across multiple platforms.
• Participate in process improvements to streamline workflows and improve provider experience.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
