Job summary

Insight Global is actively hiring multiple Network Planning and Implementation Engineers for remote roles across large-scale telecommunications infrastructure. The team focuses on planning, migration, grooming, cleanup, and modernization, spanning legacy local networks and transport circuits.

Positions range from mid-level to senior, with emphasis on Ethernet/transport knowledge, TDM, SONET, DWDM, and critical services.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications network planning and implementation.
• Knowledge of legacy networks (POTS/DSL) and transport circuits.
• Ability to review engineering records and documentation.
• Experience with critical or customer-impacting circuits.

Responsibilities

• Support network planning and implementation activities across legacy local and transport infrastructure.
• Review circuit paths, engineering records, equipment documentation, and network dependencies.
• Translate network planning requirements into executable implementation activities.
• Coordinate across planning, implementation, engineering, and field organizations.
• Evaluate network dependencies and potential service impacts before implementation.
• Troubleshoot network and circuit issues.
• Maintain accurate technical and implementation documentation.
• Support legacy-network modernization and retirement initiatives.
