Job summary

Effortless Office is seeking a Network Operations Manager to lead our network engineering team, own health and security of client networks, and drive proactive improvements. You will mentor engineers, design complex configurations, and manage 24/7 on-call escalation, with travel limited to data center work and client sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in networking, 3+ years in a senior engineer role, and 2+ years leading teams, preferably in MSP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of experience with Service Provider, MSP, or enterprise networking
• 3+ years in a Senior Network Engineer or equivalent role
• 2+ years leading engineers as a manager or team lead
• MSP or multi-client environment experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior network engineering authority and final escalation point for complex networks
• Design, review, and approve network configurations and architecture
• Lead major incident response and root-cause analysis
• Own the design and lifecycle of the company’s network infrastructure at Switch data centers
• Maintain standards, baselines, and documentation in IT Glue
• Review analyses to develop deployment strategies and cost estimates
• Lead regular proactive network reviews across client environments
• Communicate status, risk, and outcomes to leadership and customers
• Manage 24/7 on-call rotation and escalation processes
• Hire, onboard, and coach Network Engineers and Senior Network Engineers
