Job summary

SupplyHouse.com seeks a Network Engineer to join its IT Infrastructure & Network Engineering Team. You will design, implement, secure, and support the company’s network across offices, fulfillment centers, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting corporate network environments.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, and wireless technologies, preferably Cisco and/or HPE Aruba.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls, remote access/VPN technologies, and network security best practices.
• Experience using network monitoring and management tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team.
• Customer-focused attitude with experience supporting e-commerce or high-availability networks.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 networking and integrations.
• Knowledge of endpoint security solutions like CrowdStrike.
• Experience with AI-driven network management, automation, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Ethernet and fiber cabling standards.
• Relevant certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, Microsoft, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, configure, and maintain core network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Participate in capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning; recommend upgrades.
• Monitor network health using management/monitoring tools and resolve issues.
• Provide escalation-level troubleshooting for network and related infrastructure issues.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust solutions, and security appliances.
• Enforce network security policies and support secure connectivity to critical systems.
• Collaborate with IT/security teams on incident response and vulnerability mitigation.
• Design, deploy, and support Voice, VoIP, and video conferencing solutions.
• Assist with phone system deployments, configuration, and support.
• Support collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack from a network perspective.
• Assist in design and support of virtual server environments (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QoS).
• Work with development, cloud, and system teams to ensure smooth operation of servers and endpoints.
• Utilize scripting, automation, and AI-driven tools to improve network operations.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of network equipment, licenses, and maintenance contracts.
• Engage with vendors/carriers and manage relationships.
• Support telecom rooms, server racks, UPS, and cabling infrastructure across locations.
